У місті є каталог більш ніж 100 водоспадів, і деякі з них більше ста метрів у висоту і має гарний традиційний костюм партії, організовані на честь його дня народження.            Dia 12 de agosto Prudentópolis comemora o dia da sua Emancipação política que ocorreu em 1906. No Turismo Prudentópolis se destaca pelas suas belezas naturais. O município possui mais de 100 cachoeiras catalogadas, sendo que várias possuem mais de cem metros de altura e tem por tradicional costume organizar belíssimas festas para comemorar o seu aniversário. O município tem o seu PIB em grande parte advindo da produção agrícola, já que o município possui o maior número de pequenas propriedades rurais, os nossos agricultores conseguem sustentar-se e, além disso, impulsionam o comércio da cidade. As festas geralmente homenageiam o povo com seu trabalho. Sempre com um tema inovador, já houve festas das etnias com belos desfiles pelo centro da cidade, depois festivais, como o Koziá Festyvalh, e atualmente as belíssimas festas do feijão preto, produto esse que sempre foi o carro chefe da economia local. Está a 203 km do município de Curitiba, capital do estado do Paraná, localizando-se ao lado da BR-373 entre Ponta Grossa e Guarapuava, (com acesso também pela BR-277 ao sul do município).

          A colonização ucraniana proporciona a  Prudentópolis diversas atividades festivas típicas da cultura ucraniana, com destaque ao Grupo Folclórico Vesselka, a Noite Ucraniana, festa de São Josafat além de tantas maravilhas como as Barraquinhas de São João, essa terra é também considerada a "Capital do Mel", por seu manancial na comercialização do produto. Prudentópolis é também conhecida pelo apelido de 'Vaticano', tanto por sua vasta quantidade de templos religiosos, quanto pela religiosidade de seu povo.
