Foi realizada no dia 27 de janeiro, no Centro Social 12 de novembro, uma importante reunião sobre a reestruturação do turismo em Prudentópolis. Participaram pessoas ligadas ao turismo em nosso município. O Engenheiro Dr. João Carlos Calvo, relatou que o município reúne todas as possibilidades de tornar-se um grande centro turístico, segundo ele Prudentópolis é uma mina de ouro a ser explorada em relação a suas belezas naturais e culturais.

Dr. Airton Kornelsen destacou que ele mesmo desenvolveu inúmeros projetos arquitetônicos a serem implantados especificamente em Prudentópolis, também de como conseguir financiamento para obtê-los a nível Federal e Mundial. ‘’Existem aqui magníficas quedas d´agua, falésias para realização de esportes radicais, águas sulforosas para Spas, belas cachoeiras, igrejas, a etnia ucraniana maior comunidade do Brasil’’.

Em seus projetos ele incluiu plantas de hotéis de renome internacional, pousadas, estâncias hidrominerais, campos de golfe, centro de eventos entre outros inúmeros projetos.

No entanto a comunidade também precisa demonstrar interesse nos projetos para que eles saiam do papel.

O secretário de turismo destacou que durante muito tempo pouco ou quase nada se fez para incrementar o turismo. Foi feita uma grande divulgação, porém esqueceu-se dos investimentos na infra-estrutura. Disse também que a administração atual tem se empenhado para melhorar isso.

Люди брали участь в індустрії туризму в нашій країні інженер Жоао Карлос Кальво повідомила, що місто має всі можливості стати великим туристичним центром, за його словами Prudentópolis це золота жила для експлуатації своєю природною красою і культурні.

У своїх проектах він включив заводів всесвітньо відомих готелів, готелів, курортів, полів для гольфу, центр подій та багато інших проектів.
